家族企业代际传承研究演进探析

摘要
代际传承是家族企业成长过程中面临的严峻挑战,因此长期以来一直是家族企业研究者们关注的焦点。本文以107篇公开发表或出版的研究文献为基础①,从家族企业代际传承的内涵、家族企业代际传承研究的主题以及研究方法等角度,对该领域研究的演进脉络进行了系统的梳理和分析,最后结合我国家族企业发展的实际和理论研究现状,对该领域未来的研究趋势进行了展望。

①我们以几篇综述性文献(Handler,1994;Breton-Miller、Miller和Steier,2004;Brockhaus,2004;Wort man,1994)的参考文献为基础,通过“顺藤摸瓜”的方式搜索到了这些学者在其文献中提及的关于传承问题的研究文献。然后,借助学术期刊数据库和Google学术搜索引擎,以“succession”为关键词进行了搜索。最终,我们筛选出了以传承为研究主题的107篇文献。在这些文献中,有65篇取自“Family Business Review”,11篇取自“Journal of Small Business Management”,取自“Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice”和“Journal of Business Venturing”的分别为7篇和6篇,其余分别取自“Harvard Business Review”、“Organizational Dynamics”等不同学术期刊,个别文献取自相关学术会议的论文集。

④其实,早在20世纪60年代初,战略管理研究领域的一些学者(如Gouldner,1962;Guest,1962)就指出,管理权传承包含多个阶段,对传承的分析应该利用“阶段”的概念。
