薪酬契约是公司治理结构的重要组成部分。长期以来,学术界一直比较关注经理人的货币薪酬契约,而在职消费作为薪酬契约的一部分却在很多相关文献中仅限于理论阐述,对在职消费的经济原因及其后果仍缺乏足够的经验研究。本文试图在系统梳理国外在职消费研究文献的基础上,从理论观点与实证研究两个方面来归纳国外在职消费的研究成果,以期为我国相关理论与实务提供有益的借鉴。
