This paper makes a grounded analysis based on 405 articles published in nine domestic leading journals in the management research fields from 2003 to 2013 and related to Chinese enterprises' external context factors.From a perspective of research breadth, it refines external context factors of Chinese enterprises through existing literature.Then it categorizes them through PEST framework, analyzes main and minor context factors paid attention to in contextualized research, and integrates the relationship among related factors.It reviews the status and characteristics of existing domestic contextualized research from the perspectives of research depth and methodology.
