Coaching leadership is a new type of leadership emerged in recent years in the western world.Unlike traditional leadership behavior,coaching leadership behavior focuses on the improvement of employees' mental modes,the development of employees' intellectual potential and thereby the achievement of a win-win situation between employees and organizations via the establishment of a good leader-member interactive relationship.With the increasingly prominent role of coaching leadership behavior in the development of employees and organizations,related research has gradually increased in the theoretical academic circles.Based on a literature research,this paper systematically sorts out and integrates the research findings of coaching leadership behavior with regard to origins and concepts,theoretical basis,structure and measurement,influencing factors and outcome variables.Furthermore,it explores the limitations of current research,and points out future directions in coaching leadership research.
