随着大数据、云计算、人工智能等技术的爆发,以数字技术与创业活动交叉融合为特点的数字创业领域迅速发展。然而,当前研究仍处于起步阶段,对数字技术、数字创业这两个基本概念的理解不够透彻,对数字技术影响创业活动的底层逻辑的认识不够深刻,这限制了数字创业领域的发展。本文基于学科交叉视角,选取过去20年在信息系统和创业管理两大领域发表的重要文献,对数字技术与数字创业相关研究进行了回顾。在此基础上,分别对数字技术、数字创业的概念内涵及特征进行了界定。然后,构建了一个BREAK理论框架,分别从建立(build)、重塑(reconfigure)、提高(enhance)、放大(amplify)、保持(keep)五个方面阐述数字技术影响数字创业特征的内在机制。论文深化了对数字创业概念要素及其表现特征的认识,通过将研究问题从“数字创业是什么(what)”转向“数字创业为什么(why)”,推动数字创业研究从对实践现象的显性描述向对内在理论逻辑的深度剖析转变,对推动数字创业领域的发展做出了一定的贡献。最后,对未来研究方向进行了展望。基于BREAK框架,本文认为数据资源价值的识别与开发、数字企业开放与控制的战略平衡、数字时代企业运营逻辑的转变、数字创新的多元影响以及数字技术对企业绩效的差异化影响机制等问题都值得进一步研究。
