本文基于知识基础观,使用2007—2019年中国A股上市企业的数据,考察数字技术应用对企业创新效率的影响及其机制。研究发现,数字技术应用能够显著提升企业的创新效率。在使用工具变量处理内生性问题和考虑一系列稳健性检验后,研究结论始终成立。机制检验发现,数字技术应用不仅增强了企业的知识资源获取能力,而且能够促进企业与其他创新机构的合作创新,进而有利于提升创新效率。此外,异质性分析表明,数字技术应用对企业创新效率的提升作用在知识产权密集型企业,以及多元化经营水平较高的企业更显著。本文从知识利用的角度厘清了数字技术对企业创新效率的作用机制,为推动数字技术与实体经济深度融合、提高企业创新效率提供了实践启发与参考。
