在复杂多变的国内外环境下,如何结合新一代信息技术与产业集群来赋能城市经济韧性是经济高质量发展的关键。文章基于电子商务平台的微观企业数据构建城市维度的虚拟集聚指标,探讨平台企业的虚拟集聚对城市经济发展韧性的影响。研究发现:虚拟集聚水平的提高可以赋能城市经济韧性,并且该结果通过了一系列稳健性检验。异质性分析表明,虚拟集聚对城市经济韧性的促进作用在非老工业城市、数字基础设施较完善的城市、区域一体化程度较低的城市更为明显。机制分析表明,虚拟集聚通过缓解资源错配与提振市场需求来赋能城市经济韧性。进一步分析发现,地理集聚与虚拟集聚对提升经济韧性存在互补效应,地理集聚能够强化虚拟集聚对城市经济韧性的赋能作用。文章为数字经济时代产业集群数字化发展以及提高城市经济韧性提供了理论依据与政策启示。
