Unlike traditional service enterprises that promote digital-intelligence transformation with a single entity, entrepreneurial incubation platforms face the challenge of collaborative transformation of service providers and demanders due to the contradiction between the “common” incubation system and the “individual” needs of incubated enterprises. This leads to an urgent need for a large amount of resource support for the service digital-intelligence transformation of entrepreneurial incubation platforms. Spinoff entrepreneurial incubation platforms rely on the resources inherited from the parent enterprise, accurately seize the opportunity of digital intelligence, leverage the continuous digital-intelligence empowerment of the parent enterprise, and synchronously promotes the digital-intelligence transformation of incubated enterprises, achieving the collaborative service digital intelligence of “platforms–incubated enterprises”. The evolutionary mechanism behind this phenomenon has not been fully elucidated in existing theoretical research. This paper selects Haichuanghui and its parent enterprise Haier, as well as representative incubated enterprises, as embedded case research objects. From the perspective of the opportunity-resource integration theory, it focuses on spinoff entrepreneurial incubation platforms. Based on the logical framework of “contradictory dilemma–opportunity-resource integration action–service transformation”, a service digital-intelligence transformation mechanism model is constructed for three stages: service data digitization, service process digitization, and service decision intelligence. This paper provides theoretical and practical inspiration for revealing the service digital-intelligence transformation of spinoff entrepreneurial incubation platforms and the enabling role of the parent enterprise in the transformation.
